ORLANDO, Fla. – A burger restaurant that started in Detroit and currently operates out of Tennessee is getting ready to open a Central Florida location just down the street from Universal Orlando.

Jaws Jumbo Burger is themed after the 1975 blockbuster movie Jaws. According to a news release, the restaurant currently operates in White House, Tennessee but was started in Detroit in 1985.

According to the release, the restaurant will feature a 6-foot by 12-foot screen which will serve as a virtual shark aquarium. It will also have a 10-foot great white shark replica hanging from the ceiling and original movie posters from the release of Jaws.

The menu features single, double and triple patty burgers, along with specialty burgers named after famous late-night hosts such as Jay Leno and David Letterman. Additionally, customers can also find chicken and fish sandwiches on the menu along with fries, onion rings and milkshakes.,

The new Central Florida location is planning to open in Dr. Phillips by April 2023, the company said, though it did not supply a specific address.
