Restaurant chain Denny’s will be adding an egg surcharge at some of its locations amid shortages and higher egg prices, according to the company.
The diner said in a statement that the changes are “market-by-market, and restaurant-by-restaurant due to the regional impacts of the egg shortage,” according to USA Today.

Denny’s is the latest company to implement changes to cope with the egg supply shortage.
Stores like Trader Joe’s, Publix, Kroger Delivery, and Costco have also restricted customers to a dozen eggs per day.
Waffle House also recently added a 50-cent increase to meals that include eggs.
Denny’s has over 1300 locations in the U.S., with 115 locations across Florida.
