ORLANDO, Fla. – Another milestone for Orlando’s Packing District. On Friday, Orlando city leaders are set to gather for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the Packing District roadway.
The roadway redesign project on Princeton Street is considered an important accomplishment in the city’s effort for better mobility and safety of residents.

The roadway includes a four-lane divided roadway with a raised median, expanded six-foot wide sidewalks, 10-foot wide bicycle lanes and on-street parking.
The event comes nearly a month after a Publix supermarket opened its doors at the Groves at College Park plaza.
A replica of Dr. Phillips’ iconic juice stand also opened in January, considered the “centerpiece” of the whole Packing District.
