BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Tickets are now officially on sale for all four touring Broadway shows coming to the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts for the 2025/26 season.

The lineup for the 5th Broadway season there includes “The Book of Mormon,” “Tina – The Tina Turner Musical," “Meredith Willson’s The Music Man,” and “Beetlejuice.”

The lineup of touring Broadway shows coming to Orlando and Daytona Beach looks a little different. Have you ever wondered why?

I took that question to Craig Aikman, the senior director of booking operations with The American Theatre Guild.[

“We start with a programming survey to our patrons. Next, we work with agents and producers in New York to find out which shows are available to book from the titles our patrons are interested in seeing. Then it is like a big jigsaw puzzle. We work to find the shows that fit best in the venue during the times we need and curate the very best possible Season,” said Aikman.

He explained they even look at which shows are going to other nearby cities.

“Sometimes, if shows are going to be in the area, it helps us secure them for the King Center. Sometimes, due to where they are playing in the area, we can’t fit them into the current season, but can secure them for the next. We pay close attention, so that we don’t ‘overplay’ a show in any specific area. We strive to create a unique season in Melbourne.”

The next touring Broadway show coming to The King Center is The Book of Mormon Dec. 15–16. Click here to purchase tickets.
