CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a news conference Friday morning in Crystal River, announcing the disbursement of $23.5M in Job Growth Grant Fund monies to strengthen critical infrastructure following intrusions from storms in recent years.

The disbursements were as follows:

  • $16.4 million to Citrus County
    • To replace a sanitary sewer system.
  • $5.6 million to the city of Newberry
    • For roadway and water infrastructure improvements at the F-300 AgriFoodTech Innovation Park.
  • $1.5 million to Levy County
    • For critical water infrastructure in Chiefland.

DeSantis was joined at Bayside Kraft Kitchen by Florida Commerce Secretary Alex Kelly and others.
