Here’s why WKMG-TV cannot air the Miami Dolphins game this Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024

NFL says Orlando station must air Jacksonville road games broadcast by CBS

ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s a question we receive often at WKMG-TV during football season: Which NFL game(s) will you air this coming Sunday?

By NFL rules, Orlando is a secondary market for Jacksonville, meaning when the Jaguars play on the road, WKMG-TV must air Jags games if they are broadcast on CBS.

And this Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, that’s the case, so WKMG-TV will broadcast Jacksonville at Detroit, with kickoff set for just after 1 p.m.

Since CBS has a doubleheader this week, the Jags game will be followed by Kansas City at Buffalo.

We understand Miami Dolphins fans would rather see their team, but the Dolphins game cannot be aired this week on WKMG-TV, per NFL rules.

For a listing of NFL games likely to air the rest of the season on WKMG-TV, you can check here. We update the broadcast schedule each week, if needed, depending on what the NFL and CBS decide.

Thanks for watching and good luck to your team!
