ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando guests were welcomed home to a new planet on Tuesday as the destination adds another lodging option to its growing hotel portfolio.
Situated just steps from Epic Universe, Universal Terra Luna Resort and its sister hotel, Stella Nova, each has 750 guest rooms, resort-style amenities, and several food and drink options.

While related in concept, the Loews Hotels & Co. hotels will offer different experiences. Terra Luna focuses on planetary elements while Stella Nova is all about the wonder of space.

Luminous guest rooms
Terra Luna Resort’s guest rooms comfortably sleep four guests in two queen beds and feature space station-styled windows that will provide guests with either a poolside or Epic Universe side view.
Cosmic dining
The hotel also offers a variety of convenient dining options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Omega Cafe and Market, lunar-inspired cocktails at Luna Bar in the lobby, and burgers, drinks, and other culinary fare at the poolside Moonrise Grill and Moonrise Bar.
Both Stella Luna and Terra Luna offer three dining options.
Amenities
Terra Luna offers a resort-style pool with a hot tub and fire pit, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a game room, and a Universal Orlando Resort Store for the latest fan-favorite apparel and collectibles.

For guests staying at Terra Luna, a shuttle bus offers complimentary transportation throughout Universal Orlando Resort. Guests can also get early park admission.
Universal Terra Luna Resort falls under the prime value hotel category at Universal Orlando Resort. Bookings are open and rates currently begin at $147 per night.
Booking is also open for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which is connected to Epic Universe.
When Universal Helios Grand Hotel opens on May 22, alongside the opening of Universal Epic Universe, it will bring the total number of Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando to 11.
Opening on May 22, Universal’s fourth theme park sits on 750 acres of land. Ticket packages are now on sale, including single-day admission, and Florida resident.
Epic Universe features five vivid worlds:
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic: Transporting visitors to a different era of the wizarding world, blending 1920s wizarding Paris from the “Fantastic Beasts” films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic.
- Super Nintendo World: Featuring beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong in an interactive gaming experience.
- Dark Universe: A realm of myth and mystery, where guests encounter the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein and traverse a shadowy landscape inhabited by monsters like Dracula and the Wolfman.
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: Discover an island where Vikings and fire-breathing dragons exist together in harmony.
- Celestial Park: Thrilling rides, entertainment, dining, shopping, plus the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, all come together to create an amazing world of discovery and excitement.
