The FHP said a white Toyota Highlander driven by a 31-year-old Kissimmee woman was southbound on Bradley Road, turned right onto Ponce De Leon Road and struck the pedestrian.

The FHP initially reported the fatal crash as a hit-and-run, but later said that the driver returned to the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The pedestrian, described in an FHP crash report as a male, has not been identified.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, the crash report stated.

An investigation is ongoing.
