KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A hit-and-run crash is under investigation Thursday morning in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The crash happened around 6:55 a.m. on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway at Target Boulevard in Kissimmee.

According to troopers, a vehicle was heading west on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway when a person riding a scooter traveled in front of the vehicle.

The vehicle, possibly a white sedan, collided with the scooter before leaving the area, the FHP said.

The scooter rider was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to troopers.
