ORLANDO, Fla. – Thursday will feel milder with temperatures in the 70s, making a comeback from the cold temps we’ve been seeing.
However, late Thursday night, another cold front will move through Florida.
In its wake, Central Florida neighborhoods will only reach the mid-to-upper 60s Friday afternoon.
We’ll see one more chilly night, with temperatures dropping into the 40s in some inland areas, though coastal spots should stay in the mid-50s come Saturday morning.
The wind could bring feels like temperatures a bit further into the upper 30s and low 40s, especially north of I-4.
Looking ahead to the weekend and early next week, high pressure will take over as it slides out into the western Atlantic, bringing back warmer conditions. It’ll stay dry with a light breeze on Saturday, shifting onshore Sunday, with temperatures in the mid to low 70s.
By Monday, temperatures will climb above normal, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Overnight lows will also warmup, staying in the lower 60s by Monday night.
As we head into Tuesday and Wednesday, the forecast gets a bit trickier. Models are showing a stronger cold front moving in, but there’s some uncertainty about when it’ll arrive and how strong it will be.
We’ll keep an eye on it, but rain could return by Wednesday (20% chance). Until the front arrives, temperatures will likely stay slightly above normal.
