ORLANDO, Fla. – The “unofficial” start to summer is here and the weather is cooperating nicely! Any beach/boating plans the rest of this holiday weekend are looking stellar!
Sunday morning will feature a few spotty showers, maybe a T-Storm or two, along the coast or just offshore Sunday morning thanks to our onshore breeze. These showers will tapper off after the sun rises.
Our rain chances transfer to inland neighborhoods between I-4 and I-75 Sunday afternoon with the sea breeze. Expect scattered storms, not a washout. It will be steamy with highs in the 90s and heat indices near 100ºF.
If you head to the beaches be aware there is a high risk of rip currents through Monday with our onshore winds.
Your Memorial Day will feature a similar forecast with an even lower rain chance. Monday will be dominated by steamy sunshine and partly cloudy skies, expect a few isolated showers with the sea breeze in the afternoon.
Next week, rain chances increase as we begin to tap into deeper tropical moisture from the Caribbean. Rain chances will begin to increase Wednesday, with the highest chances Thursday-Saturday.
