UpTown Art Expo in Altamonte Springs returns! Dates, location, lineup

Art, music festival runs this weekend

11th Annual Uptown Art Expo in Cranes Roost Park to feature Chalk Art. (Passion PR Consulting)

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – It’s time to celebrate the arts and music along the beautiful Cranes Roost Park at the 12th annual UpTown Art Expo in Altamonte Springs.

The art festival features over 140 art and fine craft exhibitors, including photography, glass, jewelry and more, according to its website.

Guests can stroll by the water and view creative chalk artists' creations with street paintings. Over 20 chalk artists will be creating their art on the sidewalks for the expo.

The UpTown Art Expo will have live music playing throughout the weekend as well.

The performance lineup is listed below:

Friday, March 28

  • Skin Deep: 6:30-7:45 p.m.
  • Absolute Queen: 8:15 p.m.

Saturday, March 29

  • Skin Deep: 4:30-6 p.m.
  • Knightsnake: 6:30-7:45 p.m.
  • Slippery When Wet (A Bon Jovi tribute): 8:15 p.m.

Sunday, March 30

  • Franchise Players featuring Andrew Luv: 3 p.m.

All concerts are free, with VIP seating available at the front of the stage. The VIP Section is open from 6-10 p.m. Bringing a chair, blanket, or cushion is allowed. Bottles, coolers and pets are not allowed.

  • VIP Reserved Chair Seating: $25 in advance; $30 day of the show
  • VIP General Admission: $15 in advance; $20 day of the show.

In addition, the festival will have festival foods and food trucks to satisfy any cravings while appreciating the art and music.

The UpTown Art Expo is a free event and runs from March 28-30. The art show runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The kick-off concert will take place on Friday from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Parking is also free and available in the Altamonte Mall parking lots. The event will run rain or shine, with no refunds or exchanges.

The expo is located at 274 Cranes Roost Blvd., Altamonte Springs.
