PlantCon’s 1st convention is coming to Orlando. See when and where

ORLANDO, Fla.PlantCon International will host its first convention in Orlando in February, where plant lovers can meet and enjoy over 150 vendors from around the world, according to a press release.

The plant-themed convention will feature over 100 local and international booths offering plants and plant-related products.

Whether a beginner or a rare plant enthusiast, PlantCon caters to a wide array of interests for everyone, including orchids, bonsai, florals, cacti, edible plants, and more.

PlantCon will also offer hands-on workshops led by industry experts for plant parents to learn topics on plant care, propagation, native plants, landscaping, and gardening, the release said.

Free merchandise will also be given-- the first 2,000 attendees to enter will get a free convention shirt, and the first 500 attendees to enter (250 per day) will receive a free plant from Gabriella Plants.

Those on PlantTok can also meet their favorite plant content creators at the Ambassador Booth, including @Botanicallybe, @adamsforrest, and @plantaddicted_cass and more.

The convention’s keynote presentation will be delivered by Jeff Block, a physician-botanist and recognized expert in botanical medicine and horticultural science.

“We’re thrilled to bring PlantCon to Orlando for the first time,” Kenny Nguyen, founder of PlantCon International said in a statement. “This expansion is a testament to the incredible support we’ve received over the past two years. Florida’s plant community is truly inspiring, and we’re excited to celebrate and contribute to the passion for plants.”

The nonprofit plant convention’s debut in Orlando marks its first convention outside Texas.
