WATCH IT AGAIN: News 6 hosts Orlando Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at Lake Eola Park Candace Campos, Steve Montiero, Mike Valente to attend Orlando event
ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 on Friday helped the city of Orlando light up Lake Eola Park’s Christmas tree .
News 6 chief meteorologist Candace Campos, traffic safety expert Steve Montiero and Orlando community correspondent Mike Valente, were on hand to illuminate the iconic 64-foot tree, adorned by 88,000 animated lights.
The event included holiday performances at the Walt Disney Amphitheater, food trucks and a holiday market on International Plaza at Lake Eola Park.
