KISSIMMEE, Fla. â If youâre searching for a unique outdoor experience that combines fun, challenge, and nature, look no further than the Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park. Nestled in a beautiful 15-acre pine forest just minutes from the Disney theme parks, this family-owned adventure park offers an exciting way to explore the treetops and create lasting memories.
What Is Tree Trek Adventure Park?
David, the operations manager at the Orlando Tree Trek, explains it best: âWe call ourselves an adventure park, which is a series of obstacle courses centered for us in the trees. They get progressively higher and harder as you go.â
The park features 97 aerial games including ziplines, bridges, and swinging elements designed for all ages and skill levels.
A Family Dream Turned Reality
The Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park opened its doors in Dec. 2014, founded by families who moved from Canada to Florida to bring their vision to life.
âWe used to vacation in Florida every year as a family,â David shares. âSo itâs a family park. And, we wanted to do it all year long.â
This commitment to family fun is evident throughout the park, making it a perfect destination for kids and adults alike.
What to Expect on Your Adventure
Your journey begins at the Welcome Center, where youâll get harnessed up and learn how to use the equipment safely.
David walks us through the experience: âYouâre going to start with getting harnessed up over here. Then youâre going to go through a little demonstration area. Youâre going to learn your equipment.â
The courses start off easy with basic bridges and a zipline finish, then gradually increase in difficulty and height.
âThen youâre going to start on your second course. Itâs going to get a little bit higher. A little bit more swinging elements out there. And again, you always finish with a zipline.â
For those looking for a full challenge, there are third and fourth courses. The whole park takes about three hours to complete and offer a thrilling experience high above the ground.
A Favorite Spot for All
When asked about his favorite part of the park, David says, âMy favorite now would be one of the beginner ones. Ten years ago it would have been one of the harder ones.â He adds with a smile, âZip lines are always fun. I would say I like the start a little bit better. Itâs a little bit more relaxing. Just cruising through the trees.â
