🎃Legoland Florida transforms for Halloween with Brick or Treat

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Halloween has arrived at Legoland Florida Resort, where Brick or Treat is bringing candy, costumed LEGO Monster characters, live entertainment and new interactive experiences to the park on select dates through Oct. 31.

I recently previewed the annual Halloween event with my new friend Jasmine, exploring the park’s decorations, trick-or-treat stations, Brick or Treat Street, entertainment and seasonal menu before ending the day aboard Galacticoaster.

One of the biggest additions this year is Brick or Treat Street, an immersive walkthrough neighborhood featuring six life-sized LEGO Monster homes. Families can knock on doors, interact with special effects and take on playful challenges inside Wacky Witch’s Cottage, Wolf Guy’s Cabin, Spider Lady’s Castle, the Mummy’s Throne Room, Plant Monster’s Greenhouse and Scarecrow’s Barn.

Jasmine and I met LEGO Wacky Witch, who is new to the lineup of LEGO Monster characters available for photos during the event. The neighborhood is designed to be interactive, but visitors can also spend time looking closely at the construction details throughout the homes.

Ryan Wood, model shop manager at Legoland Florida Resort, said the buildings are inspired by LEGO pieces and sets, with details such as toilet paper rolls in the Mummy’s Throne Room and frogs throughout Wacky Witch’s Cottage.

“One of the things I love pointing out to guests is all the accurate little LEGO features on all the buildings,” Wood said. “I love the accuracy in detail that went into all of these creations.”

Wood and his team are responsible for the LEGO models guests see throughout the park. He said Brick or Treat is especially fun for the model shop because seasonal events allow the team to bring new material and experiences to families throughout the year.

The resort has more than 30 million LEGO bricks in the park, according to Wood, though the number is an estimate that changes as models are added or removed.

Halloween decorations and LEGO Monster displays are spread throughout the park, giving families plenty to discover as they move from one attraction to the next. Trick-or-treat stations are also located throughout the park, with complimentary candy bags available from 2 to 7 p.m. on event days.

The event combines traditional Halloween activities with LEGO-themed experiences, so families can collect candy, meet characters, build creations and explore the park’s seasonal displays during the same visit.

The entertainment lineup includes Jam out with LEGO Monster Rocker, where families can dance along to Halloween-themed music. Jasmine and I also joined the LEGO Zombie Cheerleader for a high-energy pep rally.

Other returning entertainment includes the V.I.M. Dance Party with Lord Vampyre, Jammin’ Jacks and The Great Monster Chase, a 4D movie adventure with special effects and silly scares.

On select October nights, Monster Skytacular will fill the sky with hundreds of illuminated drones creating LEGO Monster-inspired scenes synchronized to music. The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. VIP reserved seating is available for purchase.

The Halloween fun extends to the park’s seasonal menu, which features colorful, playful and limited-time offerings. Guests can try Pumpkin Pie Apple Fries served in a souvenir LEGO Pumpkin Minifigure Head, Monster Loaded Fries served in a LEGO Zombie Minifigure Head, the Broomstick Berry Shake, Spider Slush, Franken-slice, the Hex Wrap and the Green Machine.

The menu is designed to be as festive as the event itself, with unusual combinations, bright colors and LEGO-inspired serving vessels. During our visit, Jasmine and I taste-tested the Hex Wrap and the Green Machine.

Food and beverage director Chef Jose said the menu is developed with children and families in mind, while also including options for adults.

“We try to immerse ourselves into what kids would enjoy for sure,” Jose said. “Those colors, those flavors for sure.”

The Hex Wrap features a chicken breast coated in aioli. The Green Machine is a vanilla and green apple soda float served with a glowing eye.

Jose said the Green Machine and Spider Slush are especially refreshing in Florida’s heat.

“The Green Machine for those two items in this Florida weather come out perfect,” he said. “Chef recommended.”

Dining packages are also available, with adult options starting at $44 and children’s packages starting at $23. The packages offer savings of up to 20 percent and include lunch or dinner with select extras.

After exploring Brick or Treat Street, meeting LEGO Monsters, dancing and trying the seasonal offerings, we ended the day on Galacticoaster.

The indoor family coaster in LEGO Galaxy has received a Halloween makeover, with 356 new Halloween-themed LEGO elements that guests can use to customize their spacecraft before the ride. Options include a Monster Fighters-inspired design, a classic roadster-style front end with six bone elements and a Jack-O-Lantern hood ornament.

The seasonal additions give families another way to personalize the experience before launching into the ride’s space-themed adventure.

Brick or Treat takes place on these dates in 2026:

• Sept. 5-6, 12, 19 and 26
• Oct. 3-4, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25 and 30-31

The event is included with general park admission. Trick-or-treating and complimentary candy bags are available from 2 to 7 p.m. on event days.
