CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX successfully launched another Falcon 9 rocket from Florida’s Space Coast on Tuesday afternoon.
According to SpaceX, the launch will send Telkomsat’s Merah Putih 2 communications satellite into orbit from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 3:11 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40).
This is expected to be the the 17th launch for the first-stage booster used in the Telkomsat mission, which has previously been used to launch CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat 5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G, mPOWER-a, PSN SATRIA, and eight Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, the booster is set to land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
The 45th Weather Squadron forecasts that there is a less than 5% chance of weather interfering with Tuesday’s launch.
