SpaceX launches 22 Starlink satellites into orbit from Space Coast

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX launched another Starlink mission from the Space Coast on Friday night.

The private space company launched 22 internet satellites on board a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Liftoff took place at 9:56 p.m. — delayed three times from its initial target of 8:28 p.m.

The 45th Weather Squadron forecast a 60% chance of favorable weather Friday night, which didn’t appear to be an issue in the end.
