ORLANDO, Fla. – A Florida woman is suing SeaWorld, accusing the Orlando theme park of failing to prevent an attack on her last year, according to court documents filed earlier this week.
The lawsuit states that the woman — Solian Dhembi of Clay County — was assaulted by another guest at SeaWorld in May 2023 while watching the park’s dolphin show.

Dhembi’s lawsuit says she suffered “serious injuries” in the attack, claiming that SeaWorld employees failed to intervene or prevent it. However, the lawsuit doesn’t clarify the exact nature of the attack or Dhembi’s injuries.
“(SeaWorld) knew... or should have known, that numerous crimes, including crimes of violence, had occurred on or near the premises during the months and years immediately preceding May 21, 2023,” the lawsuit reads.
As a result, Dhembi is accusing SeaWorld of negligence and seeks over $50,000 in damages.
