Universal has shared limited details of what snacks and meals will be available at Epic Universe, but we know that there will be over 15 spots to dine around the park.

Here is the breakdown on what eateries will be at each themed area.

Celestial Park:

When you enter Epic Universe, this is the first stop. This area is considered the hub for the park and has a mythical theme. It will have three eateries.

  • The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant - The large building will have a neon blue dragon outside welcoming guests. It will be full-service and offer Chinese, Japanese and Thai food.
  • The Oak & Star Tavern - Not much is known, only that it will serve barbecue.
  • Pizza Moon – Limited details for this eatery have been released, only that it will offer a variety of pizzas.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic:

Universal announced details of this land on Wednesday, revealing it will be based on Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Fantastic Beasts” films and the British Ministry of Magic from the “Harry Potter” film series. Guests will be transported from Muggle Park to 1920s Paris. There will be four spots to get snacks or meals in this land.

  • Café L’Air De La Sirène – It will be a charming café serving French sandwiches and desserts, per a news release.
  • Le Gobelet Noir – This is described as a place where international Dark witches and wizards gather. The ambiance will be mysterious and it will offer soups, salads and a variety of entrees.
  • Bar Moonshine – It will be an American-themed bar for witches and wizards serving moonshine, beers, wines and other cocktails. It will also be decorated with pennants from the U.S. Quidditch team.
  • Bièraubeurre Cart – Butterbeer, the classic drink in the Wizarding World, will be served as well at this cart. (”Bièraubeurre” is the French translation for Butterbeer.)

Dark Universe:

This is the most anticipated land for viewers, per a News 6 poll. This is based on aspects of Universal’s collection of early horror films such as Dracula, The Wolf Man, and Frankenstein’s Monster. Guests will be transported to the town Darkmoor and find three spots to feast (or to be feasted on).

  • Das Stakehaus – This will be a dining hall run by vampire “familiars” who size up unsuspecting patrons to be part of the vampire’s feast, according to a news release. For those who don’t end up becoming dinner, they can choose from menu items such as kebabs, burgers and sandwiches.
  • The Burning Blade Tavern – Themed from Frankenstein, the blades outside of this restaurant will start burning periodically. This is the hangout spot for Darkmoor’s monster hunters and will serve burgers, wings, bratwurst, pretzels and drinks. Around the restaurant, some of the hunters have displayed monster heads that they consider their “trophies,” according to a news release.
  • De Lacey’s Cottage – This food stand is where the original Frankenstein’s Monster once snacked at, according to Universal. It will serve snacks such as cinnamon bread, ice cream and twisted taters.

Super Nintendo World:

Let’s A-go! This land will take guests to the Mushroom Kingdom and Donkey Kong Country from the iconic video game franchise. There will be at least three spots in this land to find super snacks.

  • Toadstool Café – The Toads will be cooking it up here and you may get a glimpse of the chefs in the kitchen. It will serve themed items such as Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese and Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs. This restaurant is currently at Universal Hollywood and Japan — click here to check out its menu — but the Epic Universe location may not serve the exact same items.
  • Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats – There will be two snack carts serving items, it was not revealed what they will offer.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Dragons will be all around this land dedicated to the DreamWorks franchise. According to Universal’s news release, when guests visit Berk, they will encounter one of the most breathtaking environments it has ever created – complete with unique architecture and lush landscaping. There will be three eateries inside the Isle of Berk.

  • Mead Hall – This will be the main gathering hall at the Isle of Berk. Guests can feast like a Viking and enjoy menu items such as meats, fish and sandwiches. It will also serve a collection of meads and ciders, according to a news release.
  • Spit Fyre Grill – A helpful yet unseen dragon fry cook will be flame-searing hearty meals at this spot. It will be a quick-service restaurant and overlooks the Fyre Drill water ride.
  • Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel – This will be a snack stand serving quick bites. It is not known what it will serve.

All in all, as we inch closer to the park’s opening, we should get a more detailed look at what menu items will be at each eatery. Once we know, we will update this guide. In the meantime, click here to check out our coverage on Epic Universe.
