OCOEE, Fla. – Air conditioning issues caused problems Monday at an Orange County middle school, sending four students to the hospital, officials said.
According to Orange County Public Schools, Ocoee Middle School experienced an AC issue, prompting school officials to relocate students and provide water breaks.

Ocoee police said Wednesday that “four students were transported due to heat-related illnesses,” but the agency did not provide any other details.
OCPS said maintenance crews were able to get “one of the chillers back up and running” on Monday, and students were taken to the cooler areas.
“There is a contractor on campus addressing the issue,” OCPS said Monday in a statement to News 6.
