Best hidden gem restaurants in the US revealed. No. 1 is in Florida

Tripadvisor has released its Travelers’ Choice Awards for the “Best of the Best” hidden gem restaurants in the U.S.

Of the 25 to make the list, three of those restaurants are located right here in the Sunshine State.

In fact, the No. 1 spot went to an Italian restaurant situated in Miami Beach: “That’s Amore.”

That’s Amore has a five-star rating with nearly 1,000 views on Tripadvisor’s website, with a summary reading as follows:

Meanwhile, the next Florida restaurant on the list — The Square Grouper Bar and Grill — is an American seafood eatery found along the Overseas Highway in the Florida Keys.

With a 4.5-star rating and over 2,000 reviews, this restaurant placed at No. 6.

The Italian restaurant boasts over 2,700 reviews on Tripadvisor, bringing in a 4.5-star rating overall.
