KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A major investment is coming to Osceola County, bringing hundreds of jobs and millions in economic impact.
Mexico-based real estate developer MB Signature Properties has broken ground on Princess Village, a resort-style townhome community in Kissimmee.
The development, which marks the company’s first project in Central Florida, will feature 64 fully-furnished short-term rental properties. MB Signature Properties is investing $250 million in the region, with the project expected to generate approximately $32 million in new home sales and significant tax revenue for the county.
Following Princess Village, the developer plans to build MB Resort Orlando, an 18-story luxury resort near Disney Springs, with construction set to begin in 2026.

Miguel Barbosa Martin, CEO of MB Signature Properties, emphasized the region’s strong tourism industry as a key factor in the company’s expansion.
“I think Central Florida is a great place, the amount of tourism coming here is amazing,” Barbosa Martin said. “We have a $200 million commitment and investment in Central Florida. It’s going to have a very big impact on jobs and economic growth for years to come.”
In addition to its investment in Osceola County, MB Signature Properties has pledged to donate a portion of each property sale to TECHO International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty in Latin America.
With the company’s expansion into Florida, officials anticipate increased job opportunities and long-term economic benefits for the region.
