ORLANDO, Fla. – A 26-year-old man accused of attacking a jogger near College Park was in court Tuesday where his attorney asked a judge to set bond.
Tyler Feight was arrested April 10 on charges of battery and attempted sexual battery.
According to Orlando police, Feight approached the victim and struck her in the upper body, causing her to fall to the ground.
As Feight attempted to further overpower her, the victim resisted by screaming and kicking, successfully causing him to run away. The victim sustained minor injuries but was able to return home and call 911.
On Tuesday, the state attorney said the arrest led to Feight’s bond being revoked from a February case in Winter Park that involved trespassing and resisting officers.
With the charges in the most recent arrest listed as third degree felonies, the judge set a total bond of $30,000.
Despite an amount set for bond, Feight will remain in jail while his bond remains revoked in the prior case.
