OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – News 6 has obtained body camera video and an arrest warrant for the re-arrest of the estranged wife of suspended Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez.
Robin Severance Lopez was arrested at her home on Oct. 23. She is accused of violating the terms of her bond related to an ongoing illegal gambling investigation.
Severance Lopez, 50, was first arrested in June 2025 as part of an illegal gambling probe centered around her husband, Marcos Lopez. The recent arrest stems from allegations that she provided false or misleading information in connection with an application to modify her bail conditions.
According to court documents obtained Thursday by News 6, Severance Lopez testified during a court hearing on Aug. 20, 2025, that she could not afford the $10 daily cost of a GPS monitor required as a bail condition. She also claimed her personal bank account was frozen and that she had no access to other funds except those shared with her husband.
However, according to the arrest warrant, financial investigations revealed that Severance Lopez had opened new single-party accounts at Addition Financial Credit Union and Fairwinds Credit Union in July and August 2025. Records showed deposits and withdrawals totaling tens of thousands of dollars, including a $20,000 deposit and a $20,000 withdrawal at Addition Financial in August 2025.
Surveillance footage confirmed her conducting these transactions.
Further review showed that Severance Lopez had approximately $16,000 in her Fairwinds accounts around the time of the bail hearing, contradicting her sworn testimony of financial hardship. The affidavit states that this discrepancy constitutes providing false or misleading material information to the court.

On Thursday, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office released body camera footage showing deputies placing Severance Lopez under arrest.
At one point in the video, deputies are unable to wake up Severance Lopez’s son, who was sleeping inside.
A deputy asked Robin Severance Lopez if a neighbor could check in on him while she was being taken to jail and explain where she went.
Severance Lopez responded, “You think I trust anyone after all this (expletive)? No, (expletive), no. He’ll figure it out. I’m sure it will be on the news.”
Marcos Lopez pleaded not guilty to racketeering charges in June following his arrest and suspension from office by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The crimes allegedly occurred from August 2019 to at least August 2024, according to court documents.
