SANFORD, Fla. – An arrest was made in the November shooting that killed one person and injured another in Sanford, according to police.
Moses Mitchell, 30, was taken into custody Thursday.

The Sanford Police Department said Mitchell is “one of the suspects” involved in the shooting death of 22-year-old La-Don Ja Quan Williams. The shooting happened in the area of 14th Street and Mangoustine Avenue.
“Investigators are actively pursuing additional parties that are involved in the homicide of La-Don,” police said.
Mitchell faces a first-degree premeditated murder charge.
An investigation is ongoing.
