When is the next rocket launch in Florida? Here’s an updated calendar

2025 expected to be another busy year on Space Coast

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Florida’s Space Coast is home to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, the busiest launch sites in the world.

We’ve compiled a non-exhaustive list of upcoming Space Coast launches so you can know what to expect.

Keep checking back, though, because as most space enthusiasts know, launch schedules are subject to change due to weather, technical reasons and range restrictions.

Date: March 30

Vehicle: SpaceX Falcon 9

Mission: Although not yet confirmed, it appears SpaceX will deploy Starlink internet-beaming satellites into low-Earth orbit.

Launch Time: 3:20 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.

Location: Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station


Date: March 31

Vehicle: SpaceX Falcon 9

Mission: Private SpaceX spaceflight mission, Fram2, is set to be the first human spaceflight mission to orbit around Earth’s poles. The mission will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The launch trajectory is stated to be a first, as the crew is heading for a 90-degree circular orbit.

Date: April 21

Vehicle: SpaceX Falcon 9

Mission: NASA and SpaceX will launch a Dragon spacecraft on the 32nd SpaceX commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station.

Vehicle: ULA Vulcan

Mission: Equipped with four solid rocket boosters, ULA’s third Vulcan rocket will take flight on the Space Force’s USSF-106 national security mission into geosynchronous orbit more than 22,000 miles above Earth.

Date: Spring

Vehicle: SpaceX Falcon 9

Mission: Axiom Space’s fourth private astronaut mission to the International Space Station will launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule.

Vehicle: New Glenn

Mission: Blue Origin will launch its powerhouse New Glenn rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This first launch will send NASA’s ESCAPADE mission to Mars.

Vehicle: ULA Vulcan

Mission: Sierra Space will launch its uncrewed Dream Chaser space plane atop a ULA Vulcan rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
