LAKE WALES, Fla. – An 86-year-old woman recently completed her 999th skydive, but she’s not done.

Kim Knor plans to make her 1,000th skydive on Nov. 8 in Polk County, Florida.

Knor started skydiving at the age of 18 in 1959, forging her parents’ signature to complete her first adventure.

She stepped away from the sport in 1967 to raise her family but returned to the skies in 2003, which is when she set her goal of reaching 1,000 jumps.

Knor plans to make her milestone jump in Lake Wales and will earn the United States Parachute Association Gold Wings when she does.
