Hey, I’m News 6 producer Brooke Savage, the writer behind this Setting The Stage newsletter.
Let’s take a look at what’s going on. ⤵
👟👟 Kick off your Sunday shoes! ‘Footloose’ performing in Orlando
The musical from Little Radical Theatrics is at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
The show is based on the 1984 movie. When big-city teenager, Ren McCormack, moves to a small town, he finds that the local minister has banned rock music and dancing, and he tries to shake things up.
The show is performing inside the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater. There’s another show Friday and Saturday. Click here for info and see my full interview with the two lead actors from the show!
💪 Zero to hero, just like that!
On the Disney Destiny, guests can relive the magic of two cherished 90s Disney animated classics with immersive entertainment experiences inspired by “The Lion King” and “Hercules.”
The Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King is a first-of-its-kind family dining experience exclusive to Disney Destiny.
On the theatrical side, the Disney Destiny is debuting a Broadway-style stage adaptation of “Hercules,” staying true to the film’s story while offering a fresh retelling centered on its legendary soundtrack.
