She spent seven of her years in News as a Weekday Morning Main News Anchor.
She's covered multiple special reports on topics that gained attention both nationally and across the globe.
When anchoring mornings in Savannah, Georgia she covered the 2020 Presidential Election and the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man who died after being chased by three White men. Arbery was eventually shot and killed while jogging in his own neighborhood.
Also, while in Savannah she not only covered Coastal Georgia but also The Lowcountry region of South Carolina which led to her being involved in special reports on Alex Murdaugh.
Murdaugh who's been called a disgraced attorney was at the time accused of shooting and killing his wife Maggie and youngest son Paul. It was a case that eventually became a saga that seemed to never end.
After her three years anchoring in Savannah, she spent another four years as a Morning main anchor in Greenville, South Carolina.
While there she covered extensive seven to eight hour, wall to wall impromptu coverage on big stories like: the 2024 Presidential Election, Helene as she made landfall in Western North Carolina (another region covered at the time) leaving hundreds dead and cities underwater.
She also covered extensively the trial, conviction and sentencing of Alex Murdaugh for the deaths of his wife and youngest son.
