Deck the Halls: Universal Orlando begins decorating for holidays

ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando Resort is already decking the halls, less than two weeks before Halloween.

This week, crews have started hanging holiday décor at Islands of Adventure.

Garland, wreaths and ornaments can now be seen at the park’s Port of Entry and gift shop areas.

Not far away, it seems the Whos from the classic Dr. Seuss story “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” have gotten a head start on their holiday decorating.

Seuss Landing now has tinsel and garland hanging throughout. The land during the holidays is the home to the mean one himself, The Grinch.

Beginning Nov. 12, guests will get to experience a number of holiday festivities including the return of Grinchmas, The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle and Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s.

In addition, Universal Orlando has announced the return of its popular Holiday Tour and Grinch Character Breakfast.

The holiday décor at Universal Studios Florida will have to wait as Halloween Horror Nights is well underway.
