ORLANDO, Fla. – Just months before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off, Disney shared five new surprises parkgoers can expect when the spooky festivities begin.

The party starts Aug. 9 on select nights.

“It’s never too early to start planning for Halloween, so if you’re already in the mood for the spine-chilling season, find out what’s in store for 2024. Get your costumes and candy bags ready, it’s go time for #HalfwayToHalloween!” Disney Parks blog said.

Mickey and Minnie are getting new attire!

The duo will greet guests in their new neon spiderweb outfits during the event.

Throughout the event, you’ll be able to see your favorite villains foes throughout Magic Kingdom.

“Who knows, you might even get to take a selfie with them,” Disney said.

DescenDANCE Party

Get ready to dance the night away.

A new dance party, the DescenDANCE Party, based on Disney’s “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” will take over Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.

The new film premieres on Disney+ on July 12.

The clairvoyant character, Bruno, from “Encanto” will be at the party for the first time.

Don’t miss Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade!

This year, the parade will kick off at an earlier time.

“Perfect for those guests attending with little ones who want to enjoy the spooky fun before it’s bedtime,” the blog said.


And of course, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show will be back.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will run select nights through Oct. 31.
