Building a universe: How construction of Universal Orlando’s 4th theme park will progress in a year

Epic Universe set to open in 2025

ORLANDO, Fla. – On Tuesday, Comcast released its quarterly earnings revealing that theme park revenue dropped nearly 11% to $1.98 billion.

While attendance has normalized compared with a record-setting 2023, Universal Orlando has big expectations for Epic Universe, as it’s poised to revolutionize the theme park landscape starting in 2025.

To no surprise, Universal is anticipating large crowds. Based on a recent conversation between Universal Orlando and its sales partners, fans will likely have to plan to spend multiple days at Epic Universe to experience the park during its opening phase, as single-day tickets likely won’t be available when the park first opens.
