ORLANDO, Fla. – Gatorland is once again celebrating the Halloween season in the swamp.
The “Alligator Capital of the World” is bringing back its popular Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins Halloween event for the sixth year in a row. The daytime, family-friendly event — included with park admission — takes place over three weekends in October, from Oct. 12 through 27.

Guests can also meet the Florida Bigfoot and Skunk Ape at the Cryptid Petting Zoo, then hop aboard the Cryptid Express where you can seek out hidden beasties like the Moth Man, Chupacabra, Jersey Devil and more. Don’t miss meeting some Gargantuan Gourds as pumpkin monsters take over the brand-new Godwin’s Gourd Farm.
“Everyone knows we just love Halloween time at Gatorland and our entire staff works incredibly hard to put on this frightfully fun event for all our guests,” says Mark McHugh, president and CEO of Gatorland. “You simply won’t find another Halloween experience that is anything like ours.”
The event also includes meet and greets, photo ops, and a children’s Halloween costume parade with treat bags for all kids who participate. There are also fun shows, a live DJ, a variety of specialty vendors, games, candy giveaways, and more.
Guests are welcome to dress up, but the park asks that costumes not be scary or gory. A special area in the Gatorland Gift Shop will feature exclusive Gators, Ghosts, and Goblins T-shirts, purses, stickers, and magnets.
