Tickets could go on sale in October

Epic Universe (Universal Orlando)

ORLANDO, Fla. – While speculation has been swirling about a summer 2025 opening for Universal Epic Universe, it appears Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park could open before the pivotal travel season.

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Universal Orlando is planning for Epic Universe to be “fully opened as early as Memorial Day weekend of next year,” citing sources familiar with the matter.

What’s even sooner? The report also states that tickets could go on sale this month.

In July, News 6 reported that Universal will likely be introducing multi-day ticket packages only for Epic Universe during its opening phase and no single-day ticket options. The decision is to combat overcrowding and ticket packages would include admission to its other Orlando parks.

Ticket pricing of any kind for Epic Universe has not yet been announced.

When Epic Universe opens, it will be the largest Universal Park in the U.S. It is set to feature over 50 attractions with ground-breaking technology throughout five different worlds connected through mystical portals.

For the first time, Universal guests will have direct access to a theme park, with Universal Helios Grand Hotel providing direct entry to Epic Universe.

Besides a theme park that will likely revolutionize the theme park industry, construction is also underway on an elevated traffic circle that will purpose traffic flow to Epic Universe and nearby businesses. (Copyright 2024 by WKMG ClickOrlando - All rights reserved.)

Just south of the theme park, sits two other Epic Universe hotels. Universal Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts are set to open in early 2025, and booking is now open.
