In a unique twist, guests will have the chance to change the outcome of the show in a dramatic finale.
The show’s production team has committed about two years to creating the show, which hopes to blend humor, drama, and captivating musical numbers. The performance will take place at the newly-reimagined Sunset Showcase theater, previously home to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.
Meanwhile, Magic Kingdom is ready to show off its newest parade, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.” This parade will be featured at night and pays homage to Disney’s rich history of parade entertainment. This new parade will have floats inspired by classic films like “Cinderella,” “Moana,” “Frozen,” and “Encanto.”
Adding to the parade is a float designed in tribute to Disney legend Mary Blair’s artwork, which will showcase a dazzling fountain of light which transforms into a cosmic ballroom.
The creative team is also focusing on costume design, ensuring that each performer is decorated in costumes that reflect the magical theme of the parade. The costumes are being crafted with creative and innovative lighting techniques which work to create a visually stunning experience as they travel down Main Street, U.S.A.
As summer approaches, Disney fans can look forward to more updates and sneak peeks of these enchanting experiences at Walt Disney World.
