In this episode, I visit the Avian Reconditioning Center (ARC) in Apopka, Florida, to see how injured and orphaned raptors are cared for through rehabilitation, medical support, and flight conditioning. Some recover and return to the wild. Others become permanent residents and help educate the public.

A new animal shelter in Orange County is officially underway. The shelter, which will cost $49 million, will be the largest in Florida at 123,419 square feet, and will have a much larger medical suite to help increase capacity for medical needs such as spay and neuter services.
