According to officials, Pinder’s body was found by state Probation and Parole Services officers who had come to conduct a probation check. Records show Pinder was a registered sexual offender who was convicted of lewd and lascivious battery on a child between 12 and 15 years old in 2012, along with other charges. The Associated Press reports Pinder was among 16 sexual predators and 16 registered sex offenders living at the Bird’s Nest Motel.
