With highs now climbing into the 70s, Central Florida is no longer in the top 10 for the coldest January on record

The arctic blast has long since dissipated, and for now, none of our computer models or long-range projections suggest another large outbreak is coming. We could receive some "cooler" air, dipping us into the upper 60s as we move through the first two weeks of February but... is winter just about over for us Floridians?

We'll finally see 80 degrees back on our temperature gauges. This is the latest arrival of these temperatures for our area as well as the FIRST we've actually seen the thermometer reach 80 since the start of 2025.
