The fatal fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. on Magnolia Lake Lane near Magnolia Homes Road in Lockhart. Orange County Fire Rescue tweeted that the cause of the fire is not known. Lt. Claudia Fernandez with Orange County Fire Rescue said the fire was on the left side of the home where firefighters found the deceased victim. “(The) State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire and the medical examiner is confirming the cause of death,” Fernandez said.
