Winds are gusting and the air is drying out rapidly. Our latest cold front just swept through during the first half of our Sunday, and now it's about to get chilly! But it won't last. Winter is going down swinging as we head further towards a spring time set up. Next weekend is a telltale sign.

Today we set numerous high temperature records across the viewing area. While temps fall off a bit tomorrow as our next front approaches, it will still be warm before a day or two of winter chill. Then it almost seems like spring may take command of the weather set up from here on out.

We're watching first hand the struggle between spring trying to arrive early and winter holding on for dear life. The next several days will put us smack dab in the middle of it, and our forecast will be rocking back and forth as a result.

Temperatures are already on the way down as the leading edge of our arctic airmass comes through. Several spots in Central Florida are feeling tropical storm force wind gusts just behind the cold front having swept through earlier today, and we're solely going downhill further from here.
