March is here. That means the final countdown to the official calendar start to spring is right around the corner. Mother Nature is wasting no time setting the stage for not one, but potentially two gnarly storm systems that will be capable of heavy snow on the north side and multiple tornadoes on the south side

Yesterday the bulk of Florida saw generous amounts of rain in areas that needed. Today, a different story. While rain is still anticipated, it comes in a more classic form. The sun will shine through the early afternoon, ramping up surface temps. Once the atmosphere is energized, storms are likely to pop.

Winds are gusting and the air is drying out rapidly. Our latest cold front just swept through during the first half of our Sunday, and now it's about to get chilly! But it won't last. Winter is going down swinging as we head further towards a spring time set up. Next weekend is a telltale sign.

Winter has officially released its grip on our area. Temperatures are booming back up towards the mid 70s and skies are remaining relatively clear. We can expect minimum impacts to your day to day from the weather department for the work/school week ahead.
