March is here. That means the final countdown to the official calendar start to spring is right around the corner. Mother Nature is wasting no time setting the stage for not one, but potentially two gnarly storm systems that will be capable of heavy snow on the north side and multiple tornadoes on the south side

After a rainy conclusion to February, March has arrived. Today was a rather pleasant day as well. It looks like this weather set up will be the rhythm we follow for the foreseeable future as spring settles in across the region.

We're watching first hand the struggle between spring trying to arrive early and winter holding on for dear life. The next several days will put us smack dab in the middle of it, and our forecast will be rocking back and forth as a result.

Winter has officially released its grip on our area. Temperatures are booming back up towards the mid 70s and skies are remaining relatively clear. We can expect minimum impacts to your day to day from the weather department for the work/school week ahead.
