Any time a vehicle is changing direction, the driver is required by Florida law to activate the turn signal.
“No matter how small or big your change of direction is, you should be using your turn signal to advise others what you’re about to do,” Trooper Steve said. “This would also be required within a traffic circle, also known as a roundabout.”
Some might say, “How am I supposed to do all of this while in that circle?”
“Well, you should be completely focused when driving and extra aware inside a traffic circle,” he said. “Just prior to exiting that traffic signal, you should be indicating your intentions by using your turn signal.”
