I-4 ramp to Florida Turnpike reopens in Orlando, police say

Ramp was closed for around 4 hours

Orlando police are on the scene of a crash reported at I-4 west before mile marker 77 that has the ramp to the Florida Turnpike closed. (Copyright 2024 by WKMG ClickOrlando - All rights reserved.)

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Interstate 4 ramp to the Florida Turnpike reopened after being closed for around four hours on Sunday evening, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Police said the ramp from I-4 west to the Florida Turnpike was closed because of a crash, but did not provide any additional information.

UPDATE: The ramp is open. OPD Traffic Alert🚦 Due to a traffic accident, the ramp from I-4 West to the Turnpike is closed. Please plan accordingly. We will provide an update when the road reopens.

OPD posted around 9:30 p.m. saying that the ramp was reopened.

News 6 asked for details surrounding the crash, but have not heard back as of this writing.
