BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a vehicle after a hit-and-run crash early Saturday in Brevard County left a man and a woman hospitalized in critical condition.

Troopers responded around 12:15 a.m. to a crash on State Road 520 and Clearlake Road involving an unknown sedan and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The sedan had taken off and the motorcycle’s two riders — a 55-year-old Cocoa man operating it with a 54-year-old Merritt Island woman riding as a passenger — were taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center, according to FHP.

The suspected vehicle is possibly a gray Hyundai sedan that would have heavy front-end damage, troopers said. It would possibly be missing the grill, fog lights and most of the front bumper, according to FHP.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call *FHP (*347) or CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS (800-423-8477).
