ORLANDO, Fla. – A 27-year-old Florida man was killed early Monday in a single-vehicle crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 4:45 a.m. on Holden Avenue at South John Young Parkway in Orlando.

The FHP said the Pompano Beach man was driving a 2017 Hyundai Elantra east on Holden Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete wall.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an FHP crash report.

An investigation is ongoing.
