ORLANDO, Fla. – Electric transportation has been popping up everywhere on our roads, in our neighborhoods and, yes, even in a few heated local government meetings.
So, I figured it was time for me to jump in and break down two of the biggest players in the conversation: e-bikes and e-scooters.
Both have exploded in popularity because they’re fun, economical and honestly just pretty darn convenient. But like anything on wheels, there are rules, expectations and a few common-sense reminders we all need to keep in mind.
Today I’m talking about the differences between the two, what you can and can’t do with them and, of course, sprinkling in a little of my own traffic-safety opinion... because you know I can’t help myself.
So, join me as we look at the dos, the don’ts and everything in between when it comes to e-bikes and e-scooters, and how to ride smart, ride safe and keep our roadways a little less chaotic for everyone.
