OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were taken to the hospital Monday morning after a crash that prompted the closure of I-4 in Osceola County.
The wreck happened around 5 a.m. on I-4 east near World Drive.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 38-year-old Thonotosassa woman driving a 2024 Lincoln Corsair attempted to switch lanes, lost control and struck a guardrail. The Lincoln Corsair then overturned and hit a 2020 Toyota Tundra.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other driver, a 48-year-old Davenport man, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
I-4 east was closed in the area, but all lanes were reopened around 7:45 a.m.
An investigation is ongoing.
