Pedestrian killed in crash in Belleview

BELLEVIEW, Fla. – A pedestrian was killed in an early-morning crash in Marion County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened at County Road 25 near SE 102nd Terrace in Belleview.

Troopers arrived to the scene just before 7 a.m. and confirmed one fatality. The road was blocked at that location following the crash.

The investigation is ongoing. No additional information has been released.
